Description

The Bison formula contains extra lean muscle trim, hearts, livers and kidneys sourced from Bison farms based in Quebec. The Bison are grass fed and live in open ranges and contain no antibiotics or hormones. Whenever possible, the vegetables and fruits used are purchased weekly from local suppliers. The kelp is sourced from the shores of Nova Scotia and the fish oil is a blend of sardine and herring oil from the North Atlantic.

Bison mince is a good source of various minerals and is nutrient dense because of the proportion of protein, fat, minerals, and vitamins compared to its caloric value. It is lower in sodium, higher in iron, and moderate in zinc compared to other domestic meats. Bison meat is ideal for a lower fat diet and is the perfect alternative to other red meats.
